Built on what we know works

AI search visibility isn't guesswork. Every scan, every score, and every recommendation is grounded in Google's own documentation and real search data. Here's exactly what we check — and where we're honest about our limits.

What we check

1. AI Crawler Access

Can AI bots reach your pages? We check your robots.txt for GPTBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, and other AI crawlers — and flag any that are blocked.

2. Core Web Vitals

Server response time (Time to First Byte), measured with a direct request to your site. A slow server makes your pages slower to load — a signal AI crawlers factor in.

3. Content Extractability

Can AI read your content? We check headings, lists, key terms, and word count — the structure AI relies on to understand what your page is actually about.

4. Schema Markup

JSON-LD structured data that tells AI exactly what your content means — organization, local business, FAQ, and more.

5. Semantic HTML

Proper use of semantic elements like <main>, <article>, and <header> that help AI parse your page structure.

6. Freshness & Authority

Publication dates, author attribution, and internal links — signals that your content is current and trustworthy.

7. HTTPS & Security

Served over a secure connection. AI crawlers and search engines deprioritize insecure sites.

8. SERP Coverage

How your content compares to real Google results for a target query — so every gap is traceable to a live result, not an AI guess.

How the score works

Each category is a set of pass/fail checks. The overall score (0–100) is the weighted sum of what passed versus the maximum possible. Checks are deterministic — they test real technical signals on your page, so the same site scores the same way every time.

Where the data comes from

SerpApi

Real Google search results — the same SERPs your customers see — including local pack and map listings.

OpenAI

Assists with content-gap suggestions — but every suggestion is traceable to a real search result.

Your live site

Fetched directly, the same way an AI crawler sees it.

What we're honest about

“Null is honest.” If we can't measure something, or if a signal could be misleading, we say so instead of guessing:
